Geraldine Ditzler

Geraldine “Geri” Ditzler, age 70, of Cottage Grove, passed away at Augustana Care Center in Hastings, MN surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Avenue, Mendota Heights, MN, 55120.

Geraldine Katherine Ditzler was born March 3, 1948 in South St. Paul, Minnesota to Gotthard and Mary (Laumeyer) Lardy.  She grew up and graduated from high school in South St. Paul. While in high school, Geraldine met the love of her life, Richard Ditzler and they were united in marriage on May 3, 1969.  Geraldine and Richard made their home in Cottage Grove where they raised their boys together. Geri loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all whom knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Laurie), Steven (Karla) and Christopher (Heather); 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Herb (Shirley) Lardy; and other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents; and brother, Chuck Lardy.
