Passed away peacefully on his birthday, Jan. 18, 2009.
Gary
was born January 18, 1947, the son of Elizabeth (Kessler) and Leslie Rice in Minneapolis. He attended school in Minneapolis and was a 1965 graduate of Patrick Henry High School. He would marry Victoria Gardner on July 1, 1965. Gary had worked for Marathon Oil as a loader and was also a member of Teamsters Local #120. He loved the outdoors and was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and golfing.
Gary is lovingly survived by his wife of 43 years Victoria; children Leah (John) Hines, Adam (Tracie) & Ryan (Rachael); grandchildren Olivia & Zach Hines, Ashley & Morgan Rice, Lucas & Addison Rice; brothers Jim (Lynnell) & Peter (Char);
Gary
was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth (Kessler) & Leslie Rice & his father-in-law Robert Gardner.
