Gerald Duane Hendrickson was born October 16, 1938 in Waseca, Minnesota the son of Carroll & Gilfie (Quicksted) Hendrickson. He graduated in 1956 from Waseca High School. Jerry was a wrestler in high school, where he went to state without a coach. He went to Mankato State to wrestle. He was proud of being a wrestling official. Jerry worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation forty years before retiring in 1998. Jerry enjoyed carpentry. He cofounded the Cottage Grove AA. Jerry will be remembered as an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
He is the beloved father of Tammy (Bill) Quade, Kathy (Dave) Picka, Bonnie (Kevin) Hauser, Jeff, Carrie (Peter) Ribotto, Ron Jason; many grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother of Carolyn (John) Turnacliff, Linda (George) Margellos, Steve (Kathy) Schultz; many nieces & nephews
