George Smith Jr.

George A. Smith Jr., age 84 of Cottage Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

George always said, "I Studied and worked hard to attain this level of mediocrity."

George is survived by his lovable and loving wife, Jean; brothers, Geno (Best Buddy) and Jim; sisters (George's confidantes), Joanie, Judeen, and Mary.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George (Big Guy) and Helen (his favorite mother); brother, Bill and his wife Connie; and sister, Jackie.

A graveside service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery (2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN) at 10am on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
