Geneva Miner

Geneva Miner, age 92, of Cottage Grove died Saturday morning September 3, 2011.
Geneva was born July 29, 1919 in Dimock, South Dakota the daughter of William & Anna (Blasius) Schlepuetz. She was raised in South Dakota and graduated from Kimball Hogh School in 1937. On November 18, 1941 she was united in marriage with Bert Miner.She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, golfing, bowling, and listening to easy listening and wester music.
She is the beloved wife of Bert; loving mother of Jeanne (Brian) Chesher, Bob (Carol), Marilyn (Jerry) Block; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister of Shirley Schmela, Lucille Kubic, Leonard Schlepuetz. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday at ST. RITA'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove. Visitation 10-11 AM Wed. at church. Inurnment Fort Snelling.
