Gary Michael Berger was born June 26, 1963 in Hastings the son of Clarence & Irma (Nelson) Berger. He was raised in Cottage Grove and graduated from Park High School in 1982. Gary graduated from Mankato State University in 1987. He was a dedicated employee of Delta Airlines for 24 years. Gary enjoyed golfing, vegetable gardening (especially pumpkins), and watching car racing
He was the beloved son of Irma; beloved partner of Jeanne Paschen; her son David Johnson; brother of Chuck (Fay), Donna (Greg) Fern, Diane Bakken (Clint), Scott (Sandy), Debbie (Michael) Adair; beloved nieces & nephews Bruce Jr. David, Zachary, Erica, Josh, Stephanie, Weston, Anthony, Alec, Anna, Ashton, Michelle (Peder), Nicole, cousins, other family; & his extended Delta family.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Clarence.
Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday (Nov. 14) at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday (Nov. 15) at St. THOMAS AQUINAS Catholic Church, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Interment Newport Cemetery.
