Francis?Bud? Baumann, age 69 of St. Paul Park died on Monday evening, June 27, 2005 at his home in St. Paul Park due to complications from a stroke.
Francis was born October 9, 1935 in Saint Paul the son of William & Zella (Hall) Baumann. He was raised in St. Paul Park and graduated from Park High School. On April 7, 1957 he married Judith Peltier. Bud was an intelligent and compassionate man with an extraordinary range of talents and interests. If it was something mechanical, he knew how it worked or how to fix it. Bud was generous in sharing his knowledge and his time. Bud owned and operated Bauman Floats, a floatplane manufacturing company, which he started in his garage in St. Paul Park and is now located in New Richmond, Wisconsin. He also had many interesting hobbies such as collecting classic cars, flying, riding his Harleys and, most of all, fishing with his grandkids. Bud was conservative in his politics but liberal with his affection toward his children and grandchildren. We will all miss him greatly.
Preceded in death by wife Judith.
