Ingemann, Florence M.

July 11, 1919 – November 7, 2008

Of Cottage Grove died at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.

Florence was born in St. Paul , MN . She grew up there and attended St. Paul Washington High School . On July 21, 1937, Florence married Thomas Ingemann, Sr. She and Thomas were married for 65 before Thomas passed on in 2002. She was a resident of the Rice St. area for over 50 years before moving to Cottage Grove , MN . During that time she was a clerk for the State of Minnesota Dept. of Revenue.

Florence was an active part of the Senior Center , the Red Hats, loved to play Bingo, and to spend a couple of hours at the casino. She will be missed by all who knew and respected her independence and spirit.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband Thomas, brother William, and sister Delores.

She is survived by her children Judith (Robert) Dube of Simsbury, CT, William ( Sharon ) of Cottage Grove , Thomas (Penny) of Newport , and Michael (Irene) of Austin , TX ; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Loretta (Leroy) DuBois; sister-in-law Clarice Ehrler; and many other family and friends.
