Everett Grudle

Everett J. Grudle, age 95 of Cottage Grove passed away on October 28, 2014 at Woodbury Health Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove, Minnesota with visitation starting at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Cottage Grove Cemetery.

Everett John Grudle was born July 9, 1919 in Glenwood, Iowa to John and Minnie (Bruce) Grudle. He enjoyed farming and devoted many years to his love of the land. He was united in marriage to Marie Konz on January 15, 1941 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, IA. They farmed for many years near Sidney, Iowa until they retired to Cottage Grove in 1994 to be near family.

Everett is survived by his daughter Sharon Archer; four grandchildren, Sheila Dabiri, David (Alison) Archer, Trina Blume, Angela (Gregg) Archer; 7 great-grandchildren; brother Elmo; sisters, June Van Sycoc, Eunice Travis, Marvel Travis and Marian Hall. He is preceded in death by his wife Marie; granddaughter Susan Archer; brother Eldon and son-in-law David Archer.
