Evelyn A. Boyer, age 83, of Cottage Grove, passed away in her sleep on Thursday, April 7, 2016 while surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn graduated from the Swedish Nursing School and was instrumental in developing the first postpartum depression group in the Twin Cities.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Thomas; children, Timothy (Christine), Steven (Susan), Mark (Peggy), and Rebecca; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four siblings; and other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents; and two siblings.
Memorial Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 8500 Hillside Trail South, Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
