Emma Marie Sapp, age 64 of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, passed away March 5, 2008 surrounded by family.
Emma was born October 15, 1943, the daughter of Ervin and Myra Muth, in Farmington, Minnesota. She attended school in Farmington; graduating from Farmington High School. On July 9, 1960 Emma Muth and Wallace Sapp Sr. were united in marriage. Together they moved to Northfield. A short time later the couple moved to Saint Paul, eventually making their home in Cottage Grove in 1973. Emma was currently employed with Walgreens, formerly an employee of Synder Drug. As a PTA member, she was voted ?Mother of the Year?. Emma participated in the Lions Club, enjoyed traveling, collecting Coca Cola paraphernalia, a Minnesota Twins fan, and had a passionate zest for her family.
She is survived by loving husband of 47 years, Wallace Sr.; sons, Wally ?Jacke? Jr. (Marcia) and Mark Sr. (Traci); daughters, Paris-Lynne (Greg) George, Kristine (Rodney) Frank, Kathleen Cole; 11 grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, Samanthia (fiancAC., Greg), Nathanial (fiancAC.e, Shantell), Tanya Jo, Michael, Brandon, Emma, Mark Jr., Jonathan, Tyler; 4 great-grandchildren, Alissa, Christian, Taylar, McKailey; brothers, Gary Muth and George (Sharon) Muth; sisters, Dequetta (Tony) Masso and Mydene Simpson. Preceded in death by grandson, James Roth Jr.
Funeral Service Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 1530 Oakdale Ave., West St. Paul, MN. Visitation Sunday from 4-8 PM at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street, Cottage Grove, MN (651-459-2875) and one hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Selling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
