Emma Dammer

Emma Dammer, 90, of Woodbury, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 14. Emma grew up in the Pennington and Bemidji, Minnesota region where she met and married Herb Dammer. They lived most of their married life in the Grey Cloud Island area, where they raised their six children. Emma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her passions were her family, her gardens and baking.

Emma is survived by her children Herb (Lynn), Bob (Kay), Linda (Bob) Stemwedel, Deb (Doug) Rasmussen, Don, Eric (Rie), 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, her sister Gloria Aylesworth, her brothers Severt Weme (Roxanne), and John Hartman, her brother-in-law Carl Dammer and many nieces and nephews.

Her final years were spent at the Woodbury Healthcare Center. The family thanks the staff for the wonderful and loving care she received. We also want to thank the staff at St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful care and guidance during this journey.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
