Elmer Sachs

Elmer Sachs, age 84, of St. Paul Park died Tuesday morning August 16, 2011 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Elmer was born March 20, 1927 in Eagan, Minnesota the son of Walter and Alice Sachs. He was united in marriage to Wilma Wiersma on April 24, 1948. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, vegetable gardening, deer hunting and being at the cabin.
He is the beloved husband of Wilma; loving father of Dennis (Joan), Jeffrey (Sandie), Timothy, Dave (Patty); grandfather of Gregory, Christopher, Jason (Sara), Jacob (Racheal), Judson (Mandy); Alaya (John) Kish, Jared (Mindy), Michael, Matthew; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Elener; brother Harvey.
Elmer was preceded in death by infant son Terry.
Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park (651-459-2875). Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 1000 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park. Interment Newport Cemetery.
