Elizabeth "Bette" Weber

Elizabeth “Bette” Weber, age 90 of Cottage Grove, passed away March 14, 2022.

Private services are planned.

Bette was born May 5, 1931, in Canby, Minnesota, to Martin and Emma Krug.  She met Raymond at a Valentine’s Day dance and they were united in marriage in 1953.  They lived in Austin, Minnesota, for the first few years where they started their family and later moved to Cottage Grove around 1970.  Bette worked a variety of jobs including McGlynn’s Bakery.  As a family, they enjoyed spending many months out of the summer at their cabin on Pipe Lake in Wisconsin.  After Raymond retired, they enjoyed their time in Naples, Florida.  Through the years, she enjoyed playing bridge and knitting and more recently took up coloring.

She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond; son Jeff and grandson Tony.  Surviving are her children Gary (Sharon) Weber, Brenda (Doug) Lamb, Todd (significant other Lynn Gunderson) Weber; 7 grandchildren Tyler Weber, Vanessa (Noah) McDonald, Trisha (Adan) Quaale, Brandon (Courtney) Lamb, Jordan Lamb, Brooke (Luke) Wusterbarth, Lucas (significant other Dani Blue) Weber and 6 great-grandchildren Wyatt and Sophia McDonald, Brayden and Ethan Lamb, Greyson Wusterbarth and Logan Weber.
