Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Franczok, 68, of Cottage Grove, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul following a sudden illness.
Betty A. Franczok was born August 12, 1938 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Rosemary (Grisell) Jungwirth. She graduated from Johnson High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Benjamin C. "Ben" Franczok on December 9, 1959. The couple made their home in Cottage Grove where she worked as an assistant in the audio visual and library areas for the Washington County Schools. She enjoyed entertaining and spending time with family and friends. Betty loved animals and contributed to their cause.
She is survived by her husband, Ben of Cottage Grove; two sons, David Franczok of Cottage Grove, James and his wife Elizabeth, Franczok of New York City; granddaughter, Nicole Marie Franczok of Lantana, Flordia; two brothers Thomas and wife Carol of Andover, Minnesota, Jungwirth, Mike Horwath of Sebastian, Florida; four sisters; Judith and husband George Christea, Hastings, Mary and husband Bill, Jones of Saint Paul Park, Patricia and husband Thomas, Law of Cottage Grove, Joan McDonough of White Bear Lake, her brother-in-law, James Noel Franczok of Saint Paul, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved cat, Elizabeth Ann.
