Age 88, of Hastings, formerly of Cottage Grove died Friday night July 8, 2011 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Eleanore was born July 2, 1923 in Rushford, Minnesota the daughter of Rudolph & Inger (Ness) Swenningson. She enjoyed playing Pogo on the computer and listening to country music.
Eleanore was preceded in death by her husband Orville; and grandson Eric.
She is the beloved mother of Patty (Ron) and Deborah; grandmother of Randy, Scott, Doug, Deb, Sarah, Jennifer, Ashley; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter. Brothers Rudolph & Emmett. Funeral Service 1 PM Thursday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875) Visitation 5-9 PM Wednesday and 12:00-1:00 pm Thurs. at funeral home. Interment Ft. Snelling.
