Elaine M. Wright, 80 of Cottage Grove, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 11, 2006 at United Hospital in Saint Paul.
Elaine M. Wright was born March 14, 1926 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clyde and Jenny (Lund) Creecraft. She grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Venango High School. She attended the Saint Paul Bible College where she met Albert M. Wright. They were united in marriage on August 5th, 1946 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The couple moved to Minnesota and in 1958 moved to Cottage Grove, where they have made their home. Elaine was employed as the secretary to the principal at Park High School from the 1960?s until retiring in 1974. She was very active in her church, did catering and many volunteer activities. She especially enjoyed baking and cooking.
She is survived by her husband; Albert M. Wright of Cottage Grove, two sons; Alan and his wife, Cyndie Wright of Orlando, Florida, Rick and his wife, Betty Wright of Cottage Grove, her granddaughter, Kris Bates of Hopkins, two sisters; Alice Shetler of Scottsdale, Pennsylvania and Alberta Creecraft of Meadville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold and sister, Dorothy.
