Eileen Winifred ?Neenie? Gieske died Monday January 8, 2007 in her Minneapolis, Minnesota home.
Eileen was born August 30, 1920 in Saint Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Roy and Anna (Saiko) Gieske. She was raised in Saint Paul. She spent her life in the twin cities. She enjoyed music, played piano and loved to sing. She liked to travel. She also will be remembered for her love of cats.
Neenie was preceded in death by her sister, Muriel Crusan.
She is survived by her sisters Lorraine DeCasseres and Shirley Vignalo; her brothers Roy and Jack Gieske; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 10 AM Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3620 E. 26th Street, Minneapolis. Interment Newport Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 PM Friday at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home, 640 W. Seventh Street, St. Paul (651-224-2341) and one hour prior to service at church.
