E. Marcine Mc Wain, age 96, a long time resident of St. Paul Park, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Boutwell's Landing in Oak Park Heights.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior. Private interment will be at the Newport Cemetery, Newport.

E. Marcine McWain was born August 29, 1918 in Mapleton, Iowa to Jess and Cora (Stanley) Edgar. Early on, the family moved to Trempealeau, Wisconsin where she graduated from high school in 1936. E. Marcine was united in marriage to Troy McWain on October 16, 1937 and the couple resided in nearby Galesville. They enjoyed several years there as their children grew up before moving to St. Paul Park, Minnesota in 1952. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening. E. Marcine also looked forward to meeting her friends at the Park Café for coffee and breakfast.

She is survived by her daughters, Charmagne (Robert) Fuller and Karen (Jerry) Moller; grandchildren, Brenda Mc Wain, Brandee (Kurk) Lee, Eric (Sonja) Mc Wain, Darin Mc Wain, Cheryl (Christopher) Johnson, Michelle Beems, Thomas Fuller and Stephanie Aichinger and many great and great-great grandchildren, as well as sister Helen Leavitt. She is preceded in death by her husband Troy; sons, Dwain and David; grandson, Robert Fuller and brother Irvin Edgar.
