E. Elaine Mueller, age 91, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2015.
Preceded in death by parents, Winfred and Marie Carlson; sisters, Dorothy Marchi Swisher, and Eloise Hammond. Survived by loving husband of 69 years, Gerald; children, Richard (Linda), Ronald, Thomas (Marilyn), Diane (Robert) Nelson, William (Mary), and Julie (Paul) Hennen; 21 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
Elaine was born on November 26, 1923 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Lincoln High School and attended North Park College for 2 years in Chicago. Elaine loved her family deeply. The pillars of her life were her strong faith, motherhood, and family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, shelling, and puzzles. A special thanks to the staff of The Hearth at Norris Square Presbyterian Home for their loving care.
Funeral Service noon Saturday, August 29 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 9979 80th St S., Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 11 AM at church.
Memorials preferred to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
