Duane Schuster, age 70 of Newport, MN passed away unexpected but peacefully surrounded by his family on April 8, 2024.
Funeral service will be 3 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Kok Funeral Home 7676 80th St. S.; Cottage Grove, MN with visitation from 1-3 PM prior to the service.
Duane had a talent for art, a great appreciation for books, music, current events, and crossword puzzles. He loved good food and spending time with friends and family but especially time with "them boys", his grandsons. He will be remembered and deeply missed by all.
Duane is survived by beloved wife of nearly 50 years Carolyn "Carrie"; three loving children Emily (Jon) Godfrey, Rebecca (Talin Barth) Schuster, and Adam Schuster; two grandsons Henry and William; four brothers Daniel (Maureen), Darrell, Dale (Jolynn) and Dean (Stephanie) and bonus fifth brother Bill (Diane) Winters. He is preceded in death by parents Charles and Elaine Schuster.
