Duane Hoffman

Duane Magnus Hoffman, age 77 of Cottage Grove, passed away on Monday evening April 16, 2013 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Hastings after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Duane was born July 16, 1935 in Mankato the son of Walter & Marjorie (Gronquist) Hoffman. Duane was a United States Marine, teacher, builder, woodcarver and loving husband, father and grandpa.
He is survived by Ella, his loving wife of 54 years, daughters Camilla Hoffman (Karl Fawcett), Tracy Hoffman (Tom) Mattson; grandsons Aidan and Liam; brother Lee (Connie) Hoffman; many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service 11 AM Monday, April 22, at ST. LUKE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7000 Hinton Ave. Cottage Grove, MN. Visitation at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers a donation by check can be made to Hospice of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis.
