Dorothy "Diddy" Gardner

Dorothy “Diddy” I. Gardner, age 86, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth; parents, Russell and Irene Dick; sister, Mary (Bob) Donaldson. Survived by children, Mike (Barb), Sean, Dan (Tracy), Dave (Val), Ken (Sarah), Steve, and Terry (Cindy); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Walter (Joanne) Dick; and special friend, Don Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Diddy will be remembered for her infectious smile and loving personality by all who knew her.

Visitation 3-5:30 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016 with procession to the Church of Saint Rita, 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove, MN for a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 6 PM. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred, the family will be making donations to Diddy’s favorite organizations.
