Dorothy Schottle

of St. Marys Home

formerly of So. St. Paul

passed away July 11, 2009 at the age of 91.

Dorothy was born December 29, 19 17 in South St. Paul , the daughter of John & Charlotte (nee Windisch) Mortick. She graduated from South St. Paul High Scholl in 1936. On June 3, 19 39 she was united in marriage to Howard Edwin Schottle. She worked for Bremer Bank for fifty years. Family was very important to Dorothy; and she cherished her visits with them. She enjoyed celebrating holidays, especially Christmas. Dorothy also enjoyed crafts.

She is the beloved mother of Tom (Phyllis) Kathy (Joe) Kovarik, and Bob (Jan); grandmother of LaAnne Schootle, Tom Schottle, Terri Polzin, Lynn Dale, Scott Kovarik, Robyn Shutak, Jacquie DeStefani; great-grandmother of Alex Balthazar, Angie Balthazar, John Schottle, Abby Polzin, Anna Dale, Claire Schottle, Adam Polzin, Erik Dale, Joseph Dale, Blake Shutak, Jacob DeStefani, Sadie DeStefani, Thomas Kovarik, and Chloe Kovarik.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Howard “Doc”.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday August 1 at ST. RITA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH , 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove . Inurnment Cottage Grove Cemetery . Visitation 9-10 AM Sat. at church.
