Dorothy Ratzlaff

Dorothy Ratzlaff, age 94 of Cottage Grove died Tuesday afternoon October 16, 2012.

Dorothy Grace was born July 31, 1918 in Denmark Township, Minnesota the daughter of Henry & Amanda (Wendt) Rentz. She was raised in Denmark Township. On October 13, 1944 she was united in marriage with Gerald Ratzlaff at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Hastings. She enjoyed flower gardening, baking quilting and sewing. She was a member of the African Violets Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; brother-in-law Roland. Dorothy is the beloved mother of Renae (Orlin) Plath, Diane (Robert) Thornton; grandmother of Jennifer (Greg) Brose, Brian Plath, Eric (Rebekah) Plath; great-grandmother of Jacob & Joshua Brose; 6 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation 2-3 PM with 3 PM Funeral Service at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7825 Bailey Road, Woodbury.

Interment church cemetery. Memorials preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or Norris Square.
