Age 83 of Cottage Grove died on Saturday afternoon, April 16, 2005 at Wodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Dorothy was born August 29, 1921 in Hays, Kansas the daughter of Charles & Harriet (Swank) Reed. She was raised in Kansas. She graduated from Fort Hays State University. She was an artist painting with both oil paints and watercolor. She also enjoyed stained glass.
Survived by husband Jack; daughter Kathy (Jim) Price of Cottage Grove; grandchildren Denise (Scott) Price of Hopkins, Matthew (Tonya) Price of St. Paul Park; great-grandchildren Andrew & Myla; step-son Gary (Linnea) Dietrich of Hackensack and their children Grant, Shannan, & Erin; brothers Charles "Jack" Reed & Timothy (Claudette) Reed.
Preceded in death by husband Carl Klaus; parents; brother Thomas Reed.
Funeral Service 11 AM Wednesday at COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1145 Summit, St. Paul Park. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 Pm Tuesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park (651-459-2875) and 10-11 AM Wed. at church.
