Doreen Marie Bebeau,

Age 74 of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2023.

Doreen was a devoted wife, beloved mother and proud grandmother. 

She graduated from Johnson Senior High School in St. Paul, MN. She worked as a waitress at Yarusso’s, her family’s Italian restaurant, with many neighborhood friends and family members. Doreen also spent part of her work life working for the Department of Education. Married to Paul, the great love of her life, she spent the next 47 years building a beautiful home and serving as the strong matriarch of her family. Together, Paul and Doreen raised five children, later welcoming eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

Doreen was a true and proud Italian woman, full of spirit, strength and tenacity. Small yet mighty and full of unconditional love for her husband and family. Doreen is at peace, without pain and safe in God’s care. She will be loved and missed, deeply, forever.

Doreen is preceded in death by her parents, David Yarusso and Mary (Yarusso/Palony) Emery and her brother, Franklin Yarusso.

Doreen is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul Bebeau. She is survived by her siblings, David Yarusso, Frederick Yarusso, Maryellen Gebauer and Michael Yarusso; children, Joseph Bebeau (Candice), Jennifer Perfetti (Leo), Paul Bebeau Jr. (Sara), Daniel Bebeau Sr. (Deardre), and David Bebeau (Diana); grandchildren, Kaylee, Ryan, Tony, Zach, Charlie, Sophie, Julia, Aryana, Daniel Jr., Colton, and Tori; and great-grandchildren, Houston and Maxx Alexander.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3^rd at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80^th Street S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016) at 11 AM with an hour visitation prior.
