Donna Bernier was born October 7th, 1932 and grew up in West St. Paul MN. Donna enjoyed music and singing, drawing, painting and crafts, movies and theater as a youth. Donna graduated Humboldt High School in 1950. During this time, and soon after, she found, and married the love of her life Robert Monjeau, with whom she would spend the next 63 years with, raising their family in St. Paul Park, MN. Donna enjoyed making the lives of her children special, and one of the ways she accomplished this was through her cooking. The smile that came across her face, and the faces of her children, as she presented her vast array of home cooked dinners, and spending the time praying, then eating her food was a gift and blessing to us all. Gardening, and spending quiet relaxation in their peaceful backyard, watching and listening to the birds was another large portion of her life. She also enjoyed a good book, or movie, mysteries being her favorite topic, as well as a good musical, and spending time with her friends and family. Donna was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Cottage Grove, before converting to Catholicism, and becoming an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in St. Paul Park. Donna was a Loving, and Caring person to all, and she will be greatly missed.
Our loss is to the gain of Heaven, and those that preceded her in death, are now with her again. The family would like to thank Oakridge Senior living in Hastings, New Perspectives Senior living of Woodbury, and the people of Brighton Hospice.
