Donna Kullmann

Donna Kullmann, age 71 of Estero, FL, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away December 15, 2021.

Memorial service will be 2 pm, Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.  Private interment at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Donna Jeanette Kullmann was born April 12, 1950 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Donald and Jeanette Armbruster.  She graduated from Park High School in 1968 and went on to attend the University of River Falls.  Donna was married to Roger Kullmann on October 16, 1971 in St. Paul Park and was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad as an executive assistant for 15 years.  Over the next several years she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis as well as other customer service positions in the metro.  In 2001 Donna courageously moved to Florida to fulfill her love for the beach and begin a new chapter in her life.  She was also employed by Hallmark for several years while living in Florida.

Donna loved her children and enjoyed the title of “Hockey Mom” or “Dance Mom” to Chris and Candice.  She enjoyed decorating for the holidays, playing cards and board games, and when happy hour came, you could find her socializing with her many dear friends.  Donna enjoyed making others feel special by sending them a card to let them know that she was thinking about them.  She enjoyed dancing, going to the beach and travelling to various places.  Above everything, she loved her grandchildren, her family, dear friends and enjoying Florida sunsets.

She is preceded in death by her son Christopher; mother Janet Wick and father Donald Armbruster Sr.  She is survived by her daughter Candice (Tim) Leopold; grandchildren Keaton Kullmann, Bailee, Brenna and Cole Leopold, Hayley Carriere and Gabbie Elkins; siblings Doug (Annette) Armbruster, Cheryl (Skip) Bryczek, Donald Jr. (Tave) Armbruster, Rusty (Cheryl) Armbruster, Diane (Jim) Kunckel; extended family Tara (Fay) Springer; special friend Jimmy McAdams and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff with Brighton Hospice and the cancer team at M Health Fairview U of M Masonic Medical Center for their care and kindness during this difficult time.
