Donald Eugene Fiedler was born March 18, 1933 in Oak Grove Township, Wisconsin the son of George & Wilhemina (Detert) Fiedler. He was raised in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 1951. On May 22, 1954 he was united in marriage with Doris Miller at St. Matthew?s Evangelical & Reformed Church in Cottage Grove. Don was a longtime employee of Gerlach and a volunteer and former chief of the East Cottage Grove Fire Department. He enjoyed farming, golfing and listening to polka music.
Donald was a loving husband of Doris; father of Janice (Russ) Rathlisberger of Byron, Dave (Tammy) of Blaine, Bruce (Lori) of Cottage Grove; grandchildren Michael, Justin, Erich and Lucas; brother of Arlene Klecker, Roland both of Ellsworth and Robert of Prescott; brother-in-law Allyn (Chris) Miller.
Memorial Service 11 AM Wednesday at COTTAGE GROVE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 7008 Lamar Ave. S. Cottage Grove. Visitation 4:30-8 PM Tuesday AT CHURCH. Arr. KOK FUNERAL HOME, 651-459-2875.
