Diane Oehlke

Diane D. Oehlke, age 61, of Cottage Grove, passed away on March 2, 2015 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Memorial Service will be 11 am, Friday, March 6, 2015 at ROSE OF SHARON LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6875 Jamaica Ave., Cottage Grove. Visitation will be Thurs., 5-8 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S, Cottage Grove and also one hour prior to the service. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The American Cancer Society.

Diane Dorothy Oehlke was born August 22, 1953 in Stillwater, Minnesota to Donald and Dorthy (Richert) Oehlke. She grew up near Cottage Grove on the family dairy farm and graduated from North High School in 1971. Diane became certified as a nursing assistant and worked at various nursing homes in the Minneapolis area and later worked at the Upper Midwest Sheltered Workshop. Diane enjoyed crocheting, watching sports and spending time with her nieces and nephew. She loved to express herself to others by writing letters and kind messages.

Diane is survived by her siblings Jeanne (Dan) Clark, Suzanne (Dale) Hammonds, and Dwayne as well as nieces, Amanda and Andrea Clark and Mariah Johnson and nephew, Sven Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dorthy.
