Dennis Olson

Dennis W. Olson, age 72 of Cottage Grove, passed away May 5, 2015 after a brief battle with lung cancer.

He was preceded in death by brother, Bill. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marge Olson; children, Michael (Becky) and Jodi (Travis) Steele; grandchildren, Andy, Hannah, Mikaylah and Ryan; sister, Julayne (Allan) Capps; several nieces and nephews and too many special friends to name. Long time member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association. Dennis was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1962-1967.

Memorial service will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 11 am until the time of service. Private interment at Union Cemetery in Maplewood. A special thank you to the ICU staff at HealthEast Woodwinds and St. John's Hospitals for their loving care.
