Age 73, of Cottage Grove

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 8, 2014 after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Preceded in death by husband, Bernard Graetz; parents, Fay and Pauline Curtis; siblings, Donald, Harold, Joyce, Beulah, and George. Survived by loving children, Kevin (Linda) Graetz, Lorie (Scott) Lauppe, Lisa (Hal) Abbate, and Ronald Helderman; grandchildren, Joshua Sandoval, Aricka and Halbert Abbate, Breanna, Bobby, and Cassandra Lauppe; great- grandchildren, Andrés, Nevaeh, Sienna, Christian, Mackenzie, and William; sister, Darlene (Ronald) Jablonske; sister-in-law, Arlene (Wayne) Place; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Delores showed her love for her family through delicious home cooked meals, secret recipes, and her dedication to a happy, clean, peaceful home. Her children and grandchildren cannot express their love and appreciation for the gift of having such a beautiful person they were blessed to call Mom/Grandma. She will be missed dearly.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, and continues one hour prior to the mass at church, Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove. Interment to follow at St. Bridget Cemetery, River Falls, WI.

Special thanks to Caleb Becker, Ingrid Bjerknes, Masonic Cancer Clinic, Coram and Fairview Nurses and Hospice who helped Delores fight her battle and in the end be a comfort to her and her family.
