Delner Danielson

Delner L. Danielson, loving husband, father and grandpa, age 83 of Woodbury died on June 15, 2016.

Funeral service 4:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2016 at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1000 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment Newport Cemetery. Memorials preferred.

Delner was born 10/26/32 in Starbuck, Minnesota to Earl and Cora (Nelson) Danielson. He attended country school and served in the US Army until his discharge. Married to Janet Boesel on August 25, 1956 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in St. Paul. They first lived in South St. Paul before they settled into their new home in Woodbury where they raised their family. Delner worked for Cenex as a warehouseman for many years until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and woodworking. He is preceded in death by loving wife, Janet. He is survived by children, Roy, Gary (Meri), Carol (Bill) Segl; special grandpa of Matthew (Annie), Bonnie and Jill Segl, and Amanda and also great-grandpa to Cooper; sister-in-law Dolores Danielson.
