Debera McElmury

Debera A. McElmury, Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Age 59 of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, passed on July 8, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Debera was born on July 24, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Russell and Ethel Deubel. She attended Bowling Green University. On June 23, 1974, James McElmury and Debera Deubel were united in marriage in Saint Paul, Minnesota. For some time they lived in Battle Creek; eventually moving to Cottage Grove, Minnesota in 1986. She worked as an Educational Assistant at Battle Creek Elementary. Debera enjoys spending time with her family and golfing. She is survived by loving husband of 34 years, Jim ?Mac?; children, Shannon (Sean) and Chris (Tia); grandchildren, Savannah and Sean; sister, Donna (David) Cahur; nephews, Mark and Matt. Also survived by many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents.
