Dawn was born August 23, 1953 in Highbridge, WI the daughter of Joseph & Mildred (Tobin) Vitek. She was raised in Highbridge and graduated from Mellen High School. On June 3, 1972 she was united in marriage with John Rikkola in Rosemount. She was devoted to her grandchildren. Breezie enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling and she loved to laugh.

She is the beloved wife of John; loving mother of Michael (Kari), Nikki (Nick) Thommes, Adam (Amy); grandma of Ashley, Jack, Sami, Luke, Tommy, Essa, Charlie; daughter of Mildred Vitek; sister of LeRoy (Charlotte) Vitek, JoAnn (Lenny) Salek, Don (Monica) Vitek, Marlene (Dan) Salek, Gary (Dee) Vitek, Louie (Sharon) Vitek, Martin Vitek (Donna Burns), Ken (Vickie) Vitek, Cherryl (Jon) Hohenstein; many nieces & nephews.

Dawn was preceded in death by her father Joseph; and brother Dennis.

Visitation 2-3 PM Saturday June 23 with Memorial Service at 3 PM at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove.
