David Zopfi

David Zopfi of Cottage Grove, formerly of St. Paul, Caracas Venezuela and Costa Mesa, CA. Delivered 2/6/63 and returned to sender on 1/10/12. Discontinued due to cancer. Following in the footsteps of brother Craig.

Survived by life partner Aub Castillo; parents, Roger and Bonnie; brother Roger (Kathy); sister Amy Zopfi and many aunts, uncles and cousins. His last words were: "In life, I'd rather have an unforgettable and excellent short story than a long, boring novel - I'm not sure where I'm going, but if there's a Hard Rock Café, I'll send pins… Mahal kita y nos vemos en el espejo."

Visitation will begin at 3 pm with a funeral service at 5 pm Sunday, Jan 22, 2012 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th St. S, Cottage Grove. Reception will follow the service. Memorials may be directed to the Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center.
