Age 80, of Cottage Grove
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Born July 6, 1936 and passed away peacefully Jan. 13, 2017. Preceded in death by son, Mark; grandchildren, Mitchell and Roxanne; parents; 2 sisters; and 3 brothers. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; daughter, Cindy (Myron) Bailey; son, Jerry (Kim); daughter-in-law, Laura; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lorraine Sirenek, Diane (Jerry) DeMars; and brother, Ronald (Andy).
Served 4 years in the Armed Services. Worked for Whirlpool for 32 years, Buell's Landscaping for 19 years. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He loved fishing, bowling, John Deere tractors and being with his family. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family.
Visitation 9-11 AM with funeral service beginning at 11 AM, Friday, January 20, 2017 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment with military honors to follow at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
