Daniel J. Zenner, age 33 of St. Paul Park, passed away July 31, 2021 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2-5 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 - 80th Street S., Cottage Grove. Following the visitation there will be a celebration of his life at the American Legion, 328 Broadway, St. Paul Park. Interment will be held at a later date with military honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Daniel Jay Zenner was born June 28, 1988 in South St. Paul, Minnesota to Gary and Kathleen Zenner, the youngest of 8 children. He grew up in Cottage Grove and entered active duty in the US Navy, being stationed in Hawaii for much of his service time. Daniel was currently employed by Alltech in Mendota Heights as a millwright, which allowed him to travel extensively across the USA to different job sites.
Daniel will always be remembered as a kind and humble man who had a heart for others and would “give you the shirt off his back.” He had an adventurous spirit and loved outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and going on motorcycle rides. Daniel’s family meant the world to him. He loved taking care of his parents, spending time with his siblings and letting his nieces and nephews use him as a “jungle gym”, which made him their favorite uncle. Daniel was rarely ever seen without his faithful companion Zoey. His smile, charm and his love for life will be missed by many.
He is survived by his parents Gary and Kathleen; siblings Sarah, Michael (Kaydee), David (Aisa), Rebekah, Brian (Jackie), Katie and Amanda (Matt), as well as numerous nieces and nephews that adored him.
