Daniel Collins

Dan Collins, age 67 of Cottage Grove died Monday evening February 3, 2014.

Daniel Lee Collins was born May 26, 1946 in St. Cloud the son of Wallace & Virginia (Thill) Collins. He was raised in St. Cloud and graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1964. On June 23, 1969 he was united in marriage with Sharon "Sheri" Ann Collins. Dan served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Webb Publishing, and retired from Renewal by Andersen Windows in Cottage Grove. Dan enjoyed coaching softball, refereeing, & umping sports. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports.

Dan is the beloved husband of Sheri; loving dad of Julie (Steve) MacArthur; grandpa of Cassie & Alison; brother of Sheri (Mike) Bitzan, Debe (Jim) Schaaf, Terri (Jeff) Hale; many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Wallace & Virgie.

Visitation 12-3 PM with Funeral Service at 3 PM Saturday at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8500 Hillside Tr. Cottage Grove. Memorials preferred to CGAA.
