Daniel Assche

Daniel Patrick Van Assche passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at his home in Cottage Grove. Dan was born May 17, 1947 in West St. Paul, the son of Albert and Patricia (Moran) Van Assche. Dan worked at the U.S. Post Office for the past 30 years. He was Vice President of the union for several years. He lived in Inver Grove Heights and Cottage Grove, Minnesota with his wife of 38 years, Paula (Lee) Van Assche. They have a son, Danny who has resided in Cottage Grove for the last 12 years. Dan is preceded in death by parents, Albert Patrick and Patricia Ann, and brother, Joe. He is survived by wife, Paula; son, Daniel; sisters, Mary Van Assche, and Kathy Waldo.
