Cynthia Imholte, age 66 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 17, 2018.

Memorial service will be 11:30 am, Monday, August 6, 2018 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton Avenue S., Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 10 am until the time of service. Private interment will be at the Cottage Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Cynthia Christine Imholte was born December 23, 1951 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Richard and Margaret (DeFlorian) Mooney. She grew up in Prairie Du Chien and moved with her family to Cottage Grove when she was 7 years old. Cindy graduated from Park High School in 1970 and was united in marriage to Daryl Imholte on November 13, 1971. They lived in the Cottage Grove area through the years and enjoyed raising their 3 children. Once the children were older, Cindy served as an administrative assistant for West Publishing and Rumpca Services for several years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed her casino outings and making memories on family trips to Wisconsin Dells. Her family was her pride and joy and she adored her grandchildren.
Cindy’s family is grateful for the compassionate care that Cindy received from the staff at Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul.
Cindy is survived by her children Melissa (Matt) Kraft, Connie (Mark) Miller and Joe Imholte; grandchildren Hayley, Maya, Jadyn, Rosalie; siblings Peggy (Jack) Krech, Mike (Marcia) Mooney; Debbie (Clint) Gergen, Teri (Jim) Hunter and Kathi Engebretson as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband Daryl; grandson Noah; parents Richard and Margaret and brother Richard.
