Connie L. Miller, 58, of Saint Paul Park, Passed away on Tuesday morning, December 2, 2008 at Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury following a short illness.



Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park, with the Reverend Greg Esty, officiating. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Kok Funeral Home in St. Paul Park, where there will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.



Connie L. Miller was born September 22, 1950 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Theodore John and Florence Caroline (Reidle) Martin. She attended Maternity of Mary Grade School and graduated from Washington High School in 1968. She was united in marriage to Reuben V. Miller, Jr., on August 1, 1970 in Saint Paul. The couple made their home in various locations as Reuben pursued his military career including Goose Creek, South Carolina for 13 years and later moving to St. Paul Park in 1994. Connie enjoyed ceramics and collecting stamps, cook books and state coffee mugs. She volunteered and worked at Pullman Elementary in St. Paul Park.



Connie is survived by her husband, Reuben V. Miller Jr., her son, Reuben V. Miller III, both of St. Paul Park, her brothers; Robert Martin of Roseville, and John Martin (Janet) of Greentown, Indiana, her sisters; Joan Efram of St. Paul Park and Carol Thorstad of White Bear Lake, also many nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her parents.
