Age 69 of Sturgeon Lake, formerly of St. Paul Park passed away Monday June 2, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Marys Hospice in Duluth.
Clyde was born April 3, 1969 in Sioux City, Iowa to Raymond and Inez (Bartch) White. He attended schools in Willow River and St. Paul Park, Minnesota. He married Jacquolyn Bauer November 22, 1956 and celebrated 51 happy years. They resided in St. Paul Park until their retirement.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jacquie; children Connie (Dave) Beissel of Vermillion, Steve of Sandstone, Carl of St. Paul Park, Cindy of St. Paul Park; grandchildren Jake & Jenny Beissel; David, Daniel & Dylan White; Nicole McKay; great-grandchild Graham Beissel; sister Donna Mae (Tom) Michalski. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, infant daughter Linda; brother Bob Gregory.
Clyde was a life-long machinist in the Twin Cities, most notably with AERO Precison Company for over 35 years. He was a member of the Elk Club in South St. Paul and an avid card player. After retirement he took up woodworking and built several quality pieces of furniture for his home and family.
Visitation 1-3 PM Saturday June 14 with a 2 PM Memorial Service at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park (651-459-2875).
