Claudette Meyer

Claudette (L'Allier) Meyer, age 69 of Inver Grove Heights, left her earthly dwelling place surrounded by her family and safely arrived at her eternal home on April 3, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Her Life will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Inver Hills Assembly Of God, 8265 Babcock Trail, Inver Grove Heights, with visitation held for one hour prior. Interment will be in the Cottage Grove Cemetery.

She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on August 22, 1943 to Albert and Delia (Peloquin) L'Allier. She was a part of the first graduating class at Centennial High School in 1961. She attended Inver Hills College and received her degree in Human Services. Started working at D.A.R.T.S. in 1987 as the Independent Living Coordinator and due to her illness she retired after 25 years.

She was married to Wayne Meyer and they were blessed with three children. In 1977 they moved to Inver Grove Heights were she was currently residing. Loved gardening and bird watching. She had a gift of encouraging others and found great joy in making people happy. She was active participant at her church.

She was welcomed into her eternal home by her Savior Jesus Christ and reunited with her parents, her grandson, Nicholas Bibeau, countless friends and relatives and her 3 babies she never was able to hold. She is survived by three children, Diana (Dennis) Bibeau, Shannon (Michael) Cobb, John (Amy); grandchildren, Danny Bibeau, Kaitlyn Meyer, Jadelyn Meyer and Cooper Meyer; siblings, Ralph (Louise) L'Allier, Leon (Jackie) L'Allier, Yvonne (Ron) Taylor, Shelly (Gary) Smith, John (Gracie) Bucklen, Ruth (Pete) Pavich; many special nieces and nephews.
