Clark McMahon

August 10, 1922 — April 19, 2005

Clark D. McMahon, 82, of the Cottage Grove and Saint Paul Park area, formerly of Grange Hall, Wisconsin, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 19, 2004, at the Woodbury Health Care Center in Woodbury, Minnesota.



Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April, 22, 2005, at Community United Church of Christ, 1145 Summit Avenue, St. Paul Park, Minnesota, with the Reverend Kevin Mahoney, officiating. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery, Newport. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street, Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Memorials may be made to a general fund in his name.



Clark D. McMahon was born August 10, 1922, in Pierce County, Wisconsin, the son of John F. and Lena White McMahon. He was raised in educated in Wisconsin graduating from Ellsworth High School. He was united in marriage to Juanita Mae Van Schoonhoven on October 1, 1943 in Ellsworth.

The couple moved to Saint Paul Park in 1956 and he worked the Ford Motor Company for a short time. In 1958 he began in the maintenance department for Ashland Oil where worked until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Community United Church of Christ and enjoyed playing cards.



Clark is survived by two sons; Randy (Jackie) McMahon of Lakeville, Bob (Linda) McMahon of Inver Grove Heights, his grandchildren; Nicole (Sean) Hopp of Hudson, Wisconsin, Steve (Jennifer) McMahon of Oakdale, Minnesota, Carrie & Kristi McMahon of Cottage Grove, six great-grandchildren, his brother, Harlan McMahon and friend, Eileen of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, his brother-in-law, Bill (Ramona) Van Schoonhoven of Plum City, Wisconsin.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita.
