Formerly of Cottage Grove , passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2008 . Survived by his mother, Linda L. (Tom Melbye) Murtagh, father, Donald, sister, Tracy (Adam) Janiak, his niece, Emma, grandmother, Dorthea Murtagh and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris enjoyed music, sports and his lifelong friendships. Memorial gathering, Monday, July 21, 2008 , 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 5:00 p.m. Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80 ^th Street , Cottage Grove .
