On, Thursday, March 11, 2021, Cheryl (Damm) McLees, loving wife, mother, grandmother and teacher passed away at the age of 76 at her residence in Cottage Grove, MN.

Cheryl was born February 26, 1945 to parents Herbert and Florence (Marti) Damm.  She married Herbert McLees on June 29 ^th , 1968, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville, WI.  They were blessed with four children, three granddaughters and five step-grandchildren.

Cheryl received her Bachelors of Science in Education from Doctor Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University St. Paul, MN.  Over her 34-year career, Cheryl was blessed to teach multiple generations of families.  Her message of kindness and compassion touched the lives of many.

Cheryl enjoyed making cards, which were a delight to be received by her family and friends.  She also enjoyed watching sunsets over the lake at the cabin and spending time with family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Florence; two brothers, Darrel and Dennis.  She is survived by her husband, Herbert; brother, Marlin (Mary) Damm; Sister-in-law, Gail (Darrel) Damm; children, Brian (Cora) McLees, Todd McLees, Craig (Tabitha) McLees, Carrie (Mike) Kissner and her grandchildren.

A family funeral service will be held Saturday, March 13 ^th at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul Park, MN. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Stetsonville, WI on Sunday, March 14 ^th .
