Charles Pike

December 12, 1928 — March 4, 2011

Passed away peacefully at home of heart failure. Born in St. Paul Park, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Orin Ira Pike & Carrie (Fletcher); sisters Jessie, Mabel, Stella, Lucille, Jean & Dolly. Survived by wife, Lorraine; sister Dorothy Lund; son Dan; daughter Sheila (Michael) Laughton; grandsons Jeremy Pike, Nathan & Sean Laughton; many nephews & nieces. Retired from C.R.I.&P Railroad as a Maintenance Supt. of their Minneapolis Fruit House, the site of the present Vikings stadium. He was a life member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union, performing with his own band as well as many other musical groups. A member of the Park/Port Lions Club, he was also active with the Osman Shrine, Como Park Masonic Lodge, Maplewood Loyal Order of Moose and Newport Woodcarvers. Visitation at KOK funeral Home 1201 Portland Ave St. Paul Park, 6-8 pm Friday, March 11. Mass 11 AM Saturday, March 12, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Private Interment. Memorials preferred to charity of donor's choice
