Charleen Kelsey

Charleen "Char" J. Kelsey, age 64, of Sandstone, formerly of Cottage Grove passed away quietly on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Seminary Home in Red Wing, Minnesota; where she had been a resident for the past nine months. Char loved her pets dearly, as well as her country living in the woods. She lived life to the fullest and kept her witty sense of humor until the end. She will be dearly missed by her loving daughter, Shannon (Chris) Haines; four grandchildren; one great grandson; brothers, Jimmy (Kathy), Dewayne (Phyllis), and Richard Schute; and dear niece, Natalie (Pete) Schommer. Preceded in death by daughter, Jackie Kelsey, and son, Patrick; parents, Leo and Lorraine Schute; and sister, Erla Mae Schute. Her good example in the face of adversity is one to be imitated and she will be truly missed by all that knew her.
